The UAE m-Government launches an extensive campaign highlighting its key achievements
The campaign aims to highlight the progress attained in the transition process as the initiative approaches the end of its 2 year deadline
The UAE m-Government has launched an extensive campaign aimed at introducing the m-Government’s role to position its brand and highlight the most important initiatives and projects that have been accomplished throughout the UAE m-Government transformation process which is implemented by government entities and authorities at both local and federal levels. This campaign comes as we approach the end of the two year timeline set by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, who launched the m-Government Initiative in May 2013.
The m-Government campaign includes various activities and unique events that shed light on the role of the UAE government in providing smart solutions, applications and services that enable direct engagement with customers in addition to listening to their opinion and feedback on the level and quality of services provided, using mobile devices and technologies. The campaign also focuses on the way these changes and developments have contributed in facilitating people’s lives and boosting their satisfaction with the services provided in order to attain the ultimate goal and achieve customers’ delight.
“The UAE m-Government Initiative is the outcome of an ambitious national vision by our wise leadership that prioritizes the happiness and satisfaction of its citizens and customers of Government entities. Accomplishing this transformation reflects the significant ICT leadership role played by the UAE in the region. In addition to reinforcing its position on the global map of smart technologies, building on its capabilities and resources which were ideally used in order to achieve this goal,” said H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, Director General of the General Authority for Regulating the Telecommunications Sector (TRA).
“At this stage we reap the fruit of two years of relentless efforts made by the government authorities and entities in the UAE to make the dream of the smart government come true. We would like to applaud the great cooperation and team spirit demonstrated during the implementation stages of this project by all concerned parties in the public and private sectors, which played a major role in the completion of the transition process in record time,” he added.
The campaign includes deploying boards on the streets in the UAE cities and buses with illustrative graphics showing the message of the m-Government. It also includes activities on social media platforms so that the m-Government reach and engage with larger public user base.
This campaign comes within the framework of a national initiative aimed towards promoting the UAE’s m-Government profile on local, regional and global levels. The initiatives also features the TV program “A smart government,” which is broadcasted on 11 TV Channels in addition to the m-Government magazine and many other activities.
