Amir Malik joins Ufone as Head of Regulatory Compliance

Mr. Amir Malik has joined Ufone (Pak Telecom Mobile Ltd) on December 30th, 2011 in the position of Head of Regulatory Compliance at Ufone. He will be directly reporting to the Chief Officer GR & Regulatory Affairs.
Mr. Malik worked with Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in the capacity of Director (ICT) for four year. His work with the Telecom Regulator was two-pronged; at one side Policy and Research based studies of emerging and current ICT’s were conducted under his assistance, and at the same time liaison with Ministry of IT (M/o IT), Government bodies and ICT operators to foresee issues and latest trends in ICT market by studying the International regulations and practices also teff under his responsibility along with the role of CIO at the PTA Headquarters.
Mr. Mailk completed his bachelors of Electrical Engineering in 1997 from NUST with Honors. He then completed his Masters of Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering with Honers from ENSIMAG, INPG, France in 2001.
