PTCL awards top performing regions for 2011-2012

In recognition of their outstanding achievements during 2011-2012, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) awarded Gujranwala and Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) as top performing regions during the company’s recent ‘Way Forward Conference 2012: Accelerating Customer Experience’ held in Muzzaffarabad, AJK.
The awards were presented by PTCL President & CEO, Walid Irshaid, during a distinguished ceremony attended by top management officials from all over Pakistan.
In the highest revenue increase category, the top award went to RGM Gujranwala, Naeem Shahbaz-ul-Haq, followed by RGM Islamabad, Nadeem Akhtar Awan at 2nd; RGM Peshawar Muhammad Khalid at 3rd; RGM Faisalabad, Muhammad Abrar Chaudary at 4th; and RGM Multan, Shakeel Ahmed at 5th positions, respectively.
Special awards were also presented to the top five regions for highest percentage revenue increase. RGM AJK, Nadir Zeb received the top award in this category, while RGM Rawalpindi, Zafar Shafique got 2nd; RGM Hazara, Usman Ali Khan got 3rd; RGM Lahore, Ghulam Dastgir got 4th; and RGM Sukkur, Abdul Karim Danver got 5th prizes, respectively.
As the largest integrated telecommunications company of Pakistan, PTCL has 18 operational regions spread across the country covering Islamabad, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Multan, Rawalpindi, D.I. Khan, Hyderabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Karachi, Sukkur, Quetta, Northern Areas and AJK.
