Airbus and Cellnex have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration in business and mission critical communications. The MoU will be used to explore joint opportunities around mission- and business- critical Communications in different countries around Europe.
In the frame of the MoU, Airbus will provide both private and public end-user organisations with critical communication solutions through the use of Airbus’ Agnet platform which allows individual or group voice, video and image communication as well as additional features such as geo-positioning and team mapping. Cellnex, on the other hand, will provide services such as the deployment, operation, and maintenance of networks and applications.
Through this agreement, Airbus will be able to further address communication needs on key verticals such as public safety agencies, airports, healthcare, utilities and energy in various European countries. Airbus will benefit from Cellnex’s connectivity solutions and service capabilities in mission-critical private networks, as well as the company’s presence in European countries where Airbus has not yet introduced its state-of-the art collaboration technology.
