Etisalat celebrates the UAE’s 41st National Day with the launch of an exclusive Channel 41

To honor the 41^st National Day celebrations, Etisalat has added an exciting new ‘Channel41’, featuring exclusive National Day programs for the viewing pleasure of all eLife TV and E-Vision customers across the Emirates. Etisalat’s Chief Corporate Communication Officer, Ali Alahmed, launched the channel and highlighted Etisalat’s keenness in participating in national celebrations.
Notable programs on the channel include rare and previously untelevised footage of the UAE, work of the nation’s founding fathers and recent developments under the country’s wise leadership.
Residents of the UAE will also get a chance to share their greetings and express their love and support for the country and its esteemed rulers through a website www.etisalat.ae/UAEDec2, created specifically for the occasion. To add to the excitement, people across the region can create and send in their own UAE National Day greeting videos which will be aired on TV. The channel will also cover the special activities organized by Etisalat at its various branches across the region.
Viewers can also listen to a special new song, sponsored by Etisalat, to celebrate 41 years of the UAE, as well as other popular National day songs.
Ali Alahmed said, “The launch of the dedicated new Channel 41 is a commemorative gesture from Etisalat to share the pride and celebrations of this day with the people of our nation and our valued customers. We will be covering events and activities, allowing people to express their gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and Their Highnesses, the Supreme Council members and Rulers of the Emirates, for their wise leadership. It is their vision and directions that have helped the UAE evolve as a progressive, secure and peaceful nation.”
As a part of its National Day celebrations, Etisalat has also sponsored the Abu Dhabi Falconry Competition which will take place under the patronage of General Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The event will be held in Abu Dhabi from 29 November to 3 December. Etisalat’s sponsorship is in line with Etisalat’s commitment to preserve the UAE heritage and its traditions, and passing them on to the new generation.
