Analysys Mason joins SAMENA Council as member

SAMENA Telecommunications Council has announced that Analysys Mason has become its member. Delivering its key services via three channels: consulting, custom research and subscription research, Analysis Mason’s consultants have been bringing the benefits of applied intelligence to enable clients around the world to make the most of their opportunities, for over 25 years.
Analysis Mason advises its clients on regulatory matters, support multi-billion dollar investments, advise on network performance and recommend commercial partnering options and new business strategies. Its ability to understand the complex workings of the telecoms, media and technology (TMT) sectors and draw practical conclusions, based on the specialist knowledge of its people, is what sets it apart.

Mr. Bocar A. BA, President of SAMENA, sharing his views on Analysis Mason’s joining SAMENA, said that we have been focusing on wide-ranging collaboration among the telecoms and ICT industry’s stake holders by offering a supportive platform. Mr. Bocar added that “the onset of numerous technological innovations in the telecom sector globally has accentuated the incessantly rising demands of the technology savvy consumer base that exists across the SAMENA region.” He said that the growing membership base is contributing to the innovative development of the telecoms & ICT sector in the region and that it has been the cornerstone, transcending the realms of envisioning newer horizons of progression and evolution.

SAMENA Telecommunications Council is South Asia – Middle East – North Africa (SAMENA) region’s sole operator-driven industry association that represents telecommunications service providers from around the region, and beyond. SAMENA is a not-for-profit organization, with membership comprising more than 80 leading regional and international organizations. Headquartered in the UAE, SAMENA was founded in 2006, chaired by Eng. Saud Al Daweesh and led by Thomas Wilson. SAMENA collaborates with leading non-profit international organizations, including the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)  and the European Telecom Network Operators’ Association. With an expanding member portfolio, the Council is quickly securing strong footing in the region. SAMENA’s current network consists of 25 countries from South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. However, organizations from countries of Asia Pacific, Europe and North America also form part of the SAMENA membership.
