ENCO unveils new AI production tool enCue at IBC2026

ENCO presents enCue, a new AI Production Tool that dramatically accelerates video editing and content repurposing workflows, at IBC2026 beginning tomorrow. Making its global debut at Stand 7.A34, enCue applies artificial intelligence to time-consuming post-production processes, automatically transforming long-form programming into compelling social media clips and assembling raw footage from multiple sources into polished news packages. ENCO will also bring its SPOTai AI-driven video creation platform to IBC for the first time, with significant enhancements since its NAB debut in April. IBC2026 runs through Monday at the RAI Amsterdam.

enCue addresses the enormous volume of video that broadcasters and content producers generate every day, much of which requires hours of manual review before it can be edited, repurposed and distributed. ENCO developed enCue to automate much of that “drudge work,” allowing production teams to spend less time searching through footage and more time applying their creative skills to finalize content.

The browser-based, cloud-native platform supports two complementary AI-assisted production workflows. The first, known as clip farming, automatically analyzes long-form programming such as an hour-long newscast or podcast and identifies segments with the strongest visual and aural cues. enCue extracts the most compelling moments and prepares individual clips or highlight reels for distribution across social and digital platforms, complete with automatically generated titles and captions.

The workflow can also intelligently convert horizontal programming into vertical formats optimized for social media consumption. Each selected clip can include a 15-second teaser with audio, helping broadcasters quickly turn existing programming into attention-grabbing content without requiring editors to manually scrub through hours of source material.

The second workflow reverses the process by bringing multiple video sources together into a single finished story. Production teams can upload a curated script or narration along with raw footage captured from different sources or angles. enCue analyzes the available material, identifies footage that corresponds with the script, and automatically assembles the elements into a continuous news package ready for editorial review.

That capability can substantially reduce the time editors spend searching through interviews, location shots and other raw material following a shoot. Rather than manually reviewing every asset to find the appropriate shot for each portion of a story, editors can begin with an AI-generated rough cut and concentrate their attention on creative refinement and final polish.

“AI Production Tools are becoming an increasingly important part of ENCO’s innovation strategy because they can remove repetitive work from broadcast workflows while allowing people to focus their time and expertise where it matters most,” said Ken Frommert, President of ENCO. “With enCue and SPOTai for video, along with SPECai and aiTrack for audio, we continue to invest in practical AI applications that bring greater efficiency to the production workflow and broader broadcast engineering ecosystem. Our goal is to make these capabilities intuitive and accessible so broadcasters can produce, repurpose and monetize more content without adding complexity to their operations.”

SPOTai Advances AI-Powered Video Advertising

IBC visitors will also experience the latest generation of SPOTai, ENCO’s AI-driven video advertising platform that extends the company’s proven SPECai technology into television and digital video production. SPOTai dramatically simplifies the creation of professional-quality advertising by using generative AI to move from an initial concept to a complete, broadcast-ready video in minutes.

Users provide basic brand information including a business name, logo and contact details, followed by a simple text description of the desired video or advertisement. SPOTai then applies generative AI and video models to develop the script, visual concepts, video sequences and branded end frame, typically producing a finished 1080p advertisement ready for television, web and social media.

Since SPOTai’s NAB debut, ENCO has incorporated more sophisticated AI and large language models that produce higher-quality, more realistic video and stronger creative results from the first generation. ENCO has also streamlined the user interface, added an integrated image editor and introduced automatic publishing to social media, further reducing the steps between ad creation and distribution. enCue and SPOTai join SPECai, ENCO’s AI-powered audio advertising platform, and aiTrack, its cloud-native, automation-agnostic platform for generating, localizing and scheduling dynamic AI-driven audio content, as part of ENCO’s growing family of AI Production Tools for television and radio broadcasters.
