Nawras launches convenient Business Mousbak prepaid service for corporate customers

Nawras, a member of the Qtel Group, launched another ‘first’ today with the unveiling of its eagerly-awaited Business Mousbak prepaid service. Chief Executive Officer, Ross Cormack, excitedly announced the new service during a press conference held at the first INFRA exhibition in Muscat.
Through its Business Group feature, the new Business Mousbak service gives the ability to make free calls between all employees of a company, whether they are using mobile postpaid or prepaid lines. Helping to control costs, a secure online tool is provided to make it easy for corporate customers to recharge and distribute credit to employees on an ad hoc basis or automatically on a regular basis.
Outlining one of the many advantages of Business Mousbak prepaid, Issam Al-Ismaily, Nawras Product Manager, said, “Prepaid and postpaid customers can now be conveniently registered together under one Business Group which allows the whole company to benefit from free internal communication for a minimum monthly fee.  For just 3 Omani Rials per line, all calls within the Business Group are free.”
Many corporate customers are already reaping the benefits of the Business Group service and are great fans of the free internal communication previously only extended to employees with Nawras Ajel postpaid lines.  Now the same convenience can be applied to all Nawras Mousbak prepaid numbers too.
Understanding the needs of the business community, Nawras designed this new service primarily for large enterprises – particularly those with a high number of employees – however, it can also be used just as advantageously by any SME with a minimum of 20 lines.
Using the new Business Mousbak service, corporate customers making calls to any other Nawras number outside the Business Group will be charged a flat rate of 39 Baiza per minute while calls to other customers in Oman are just 55 Baiza per minute.  Conveniently, calls are not subject to peak and off peak times.  Free voice mail is also included in the new service.
Company telecom administrators can buy credit in bulk and electronically distribute it to all employees using the online recharge tool provided by Business Mousbak. Customers can choose to define regular intervals at which to automatically recharge and a choice of reports is offered to show details of all previous recharges.
“We have listened to our customers, who have rightly asked for the communication needs of all employees including blue-collar workers, to be met by a single operator,” explained Saied Sadiq Mohammed, Nawras Acting Department Head – Business Planning.  “Our Business Mousbak plans are designed to make internal communication easier and more efficient for entire companies.  Nawras is in tune with the needs of the business community and is committed to making all aspects of telecommunications flexible by presenting a wide range of options that are easy to use and easy to control.”
Individual customers can add further credit on top of their company allowance if and when needed, by simply making use of the wide selection of Nawras recharge channels that are available.     These include more than 50 self service machines in high traffic areas as well as over 15,000 points of sale countrywide.
Oman’s customer friendly operator is expecting the new Business Mousbak service to be of particular interest to companies with a high number of employees in fields like construction, manufacturing, maintenance, transport, catering and petroleum.
Corporate customers with more than 20 Nawras lines can contact their account manager today to start taking advantage of Business Mousbak while new corporate customers are invited to call 9501 1503 or send an email to nbs@nawras.om to benefit from this pleasingly different service.
“I would like to extend our gratitude to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority for their collaboration in enabling the introduction of such innovative products for customers in Oman,” said Cormack during the pleasingly different launch event held at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
A member of the Qtel Group, Nawras is committed to enriching the lives of people in Oman through better communication services.
