Mobily boosts its Network in The Holy Sites by Advanced Technologies and Fiber Optics

Etihad Etisalat “Mobily” said their use of new advanced technologies to guarantee the flow of the calls and information in Makkah, and the Holy Sites will improve in providing high quality services for the pilgrims.
Mobily added by boosting the capacity for its network in the holy sites to more than 4 million call at the same time comes as a result for its continues studies and its devotion to provide the best services for the pilgrims.
Eng. Khalid AlKaf Mobily’s CEO expects the growth of calls and information in Mobily’s network to be greater than the Hajj previous seasons due to the outstanding impression of Mobily’s network in the last years aside to the great efforts that have been invested in introducing Mobily services and network inside and outside the Kingdom.
Furthermore, AlKaf referred to the new network of the Fiber Optics plus the additional 70 towers that have been added to Mobily’s network that will boost the enormous flow of calls in the holy sites, adding that Mobily has provided special networks in the Holy Sites train stations, tunnels, and Mena building to guarantee a continuous flow of calls.
AlKaf added that AlJamrat Bridge with its multiple floors has a network which is connected by fiber Optics that surly increases the performance all the time even in rush hour.
Finally, Eng. Khalid AlKaf thanked the Government of the Two Holy Mosques for providing all the means for government and privet sectors to convey their message , specially Mobily by participating in the Awareness of Pilgrims Campaign and providing its service for the pilgrims. Mobily has provided the Internet services (WiFi) for free , and started the Distribution of millions of gifts and bottled water .
