Accordingly, Batelco Group CEO Shaikh Mohamed Bin Isa Al Khalifa met with the Minister of Health H.E Sadiq Shehabi to discuss plans for the delivery of 120 wheelchairs, donated by Batelco, to the Ministry of Health, to be distributed throughout MoH hospitals and Health Centres. A number of MoH and Batelco officials were also in attendance at the meeting which took place at the Ministry of Health headquarters recently.
Shaikh Mohamed said that he was very pleased to meet with Mr. Shehabi to formalise plans for the delivery of the wheelchairs, adding that the wheelchair donation programme is part of Batelco’s commitment to help the Kingdom’s healthcare providers to deliver the very best treatment for patients.
H.E Mr. Shehabi extended his grateful appreciation for Batelco’s generousity in providing the wheelchairs which will be a great boost in supporting his Ministry’s planned enhancements for hospitals and Health Centres.
