Etihad Etisalt (Mobily) said it is officially sponsoring the TELSA in Riyadh set to open next Sunday.
It is being held with the support of Communications and Information Technology Minister Mohamed Jamil bin Ahmed Mulla.
Khalid Al-Kaf, managing director and CEO of Mobily, said the telecommunication and IT sector is considered one of the fastest growing sectors today, due to the competitive nature between telecommunication developers and providers offering the latest technologies and trends in services and devices.
He also said TELSA would provide a platform for all participating companies to discuss the future of the telecommunication sector in the region, exploring new long-term and short-term growth opportunities and drawing valuable conclusions from case studies presented during the Saudi Telecom and ICT Summit.
Al-Kaf added: “Mobily’s participation in TELSA as an official telecommunication partner is part of its keenness to support economic initiatives that help in the development and growth of the telecommunication sector in the Kingdom, and is a continuation of its previous sponsorships within the sector, which had a large role in their success.”
He also said Mobily has a special interest in Kingdom’s business sector and seeks to provide improved telecommunication solutions that will help in shaping the future of small and medium enterprises, adding that Mobily has introduced numerous initiatives which have helped to strengthen the business sector.
Mobily has always been keen to be present at the summits which it sponsors, or to participate with working papers and solutions.
It recently sponsored the “Telecom World” Summit of the ME and its supplementary exhibition that was held in Dubai; as a diamond sponsor.
