Omantel renews sponsorship deal with OFA

The Oman Football Association and Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) signed and renewed their Elite league title partnership to be renamed as the “Omantel League” for three seasons.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Oman Football Association Chairman Sayyid Khalid al Busaidy and Dr Amer bin Awadh al-Rawas, CEO of Omantel. The signing ceremony was attended by a large number of media personnels.
Sayyid Khalid expressed his happiness over Omantel renewing the contract and said that the endless support received from Omantel towards Omani football has always been highly appreciated. This strategic partnership would assist OFA to streamline and achieve its long term objectives. The funds received from this sponsorship fee would be partly allocated to the clubs to assist them financially and towards the organisation of the Omantel League for each season.
Dr Amer bin Awadh al-Rawas reiterated that Omantel were delighted to renew their strategic partnership with the OFA for three seasons. “We look forward to reap the positive results of our partnership with Oman football in the long term through the further development and progress of the game and we hope to see football in Oman boom in the near future, especially at the level of clubs and local competitions, including the national teams.”
