Qtel and Batelco have signed a memorandum of understanding, expanding co-operation in areas that cover products and services. The MoU complements the previous partnership agreement signed in August 2011, expanding co-operation between Qtel and Batelco in voice, Internet, data, facility management and mobile; application and content services; business solution services; sales and marketing collaboration; carrier services such as roaming, voice and capacity; and facility management services. The MoU is expected to make a difference for customers of both companies, in terms of quality and range of services to be delivered via the reliable, state-of-the-art networks of the two operators. Qtel Chief Wholesale and International Officer Ahmed al-Derbesti said: “We have a partnership of long-standing with Batelco, and this MoU opens the door to providing more quality products and services to our customers in Qatar.”
